  14. I am going to Finland and Germany next month, so I am wondering if there
  15. are any Icon folks who can answer me a couple questions:

  17. 1. Are there any German-language documents on Icon programming available?
  18.    Was the Icon book ever translated into German in east or west germany?
  19.    I have a Polish Icon book, aber ich kann es nicht lesen.  I would love
  20.    to get a copy of any materials on Icon in German.

  22. 2. I am a bibliophile, and I love books too.  :-)
  23.    Would anyone be able to recommend bookstores for technical books, and
  24.    for used general books in central or southern Germany?  What are the
  25.    best libraries in those regions?

  27. I apologize for sending this out to the entire list, but it seemed the
  28. best or perhaps only way of reaching Icon-ers on the continent.  On an
  29. international note, the next release of Windows Icon will include some
  30. improvements in writing mixed-size character sets, thanks to prompting
  31. from a user in Japan.  Does anyone else have needs for an
  32. internationally-smart Icon?  Are any Icon materials available in other
  33. human languages, such as Spanish?
